What is Wise Food Now’s policy for returns?

A.

RETURN MERCHANDISE POLICY: Permission to complete any return must be obtained through contact with the return department of Wise Foods Now. If non-defective merchandise has been authorized for a return, the product may incur a 10% re-stocking fee. If a refund is issued, it will be returned within 20 business days once our company has received and processed the return product. The refund will be provided using the same payment method of the original purchase.

When a return has been authorized by our return department:

  1. Please direct the return merchandise to the address provided by our return department.
  2. Write the Return Authorization Number legibly on the box to be mailed.
  3. Be sure to keep your shipping records on hand for proof of shipment in case of any lost shipments.

We highly recommend insurance for returns shipped through the U.S. Postal Service (U.S.P.S.) or those totaling over $100.00 in value. Unfortunately, we cannot be held liable for any return merchandise that is not received by our return department. Once your return item has been processed, we will notify you by phone, airmail, or e-mail regarding your refund.

Will I receive order details regarding product delivery?

Yes, you will receive confirmation by email upon placing your order. The confirmation will detail the contents of your shipment as well as delivery times.

Do you ship outside of the United States?

A.

Yes, although free shipping is only available for orders over $87 within the continental United States. Shipping to Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico incurs a 10% shipping fee. We ship through FedEx or LTL carriers. For international orders, please utilize the international checkout option when you have finished selecting items for your online shopping cart. This option directs you through the iGlobal checkout, calculating any additional fees for taxes and shipping worldwide. For assistance, please give us a call and we will gladly assist you with completing your order.

Are there alternative uses for your products?

Not only are our gourmet meals the best option for long-term food storage, but many of our customers  purchase our meals for daily use, such as a last-minute dinner option or a snack on-the-go. Our Outdoor Meals are great for any recreational activity, such as camping, boating, hiking, snowmobiling, or any other outdoor adventure you can think of. The Freeze Dried Fruit and Gourmet Snack Packs are a common favorite for versatile use. Some of our customers use our breakfasts regularly for busy mornings, and others enjoy our gourmet meals for a quick snack during the day.

Where should I store my Wise Food Now meals?

A.

Our entrées are best stored in a dry, cool place such as a basement. Best storage for you may depend upon your location and available resources. Freeze-dried and dehydrated meals are influenced by temperature, light, and moisture. Our 4-5 gallon bucket storage and Mylar packaging protects against various conditions and preserves shelf life for the long run.

Do I have to use hot water to prepare the food, and how much should I use?

A.

While hot water is recommended, you may use any temperature of water to rehydrate the meals. You will need one cup of water per serving. Cooking the food with boiling water typically takes around 12 minutes to prepare, while rehydrating the food with cold water may take approximately 20-30 minutes. We also provide portable stoves for purchase if you wish to maximize the ease of preparing a hot and delicious meal.

How are the meals packaged?

A.

 All of our gourmet meals are packaged in nitrogen-flushed Mylar packages which are then stored in durable 4-5 gallon plastic buckets. The buckets are stackable to optimize space, and opening the buckets does not affect the quality or freshness of unopened meals. Our packaging process optimizes quality, taste, and nutrition for the longest possible shelf life for each food item. Please see our Smart Packaging section for more details.

Is it possible to taste a sample before purchasing?

Most definitely. We are happy to provide free samples to customers who would like to taste test our meals before making a purchase selection. Simply give us a call or send us an email requesting a sample, and we will ship one to you as soon as possible.
